To join the Palisades Park Public Library, you need to be a resident of Palisades Park & present the following:
If you do not have a State ID, you can use a passport or residence card, plus one of the following:
Those 17 and under must be with a parent or legal guardian to receive a library card.
Cards are valid for three years. You may renew your card by presenting the library card and proof of address. Please contact the library if anything associated with the account changes. There is currently no fee for a replacement card.
Temporary residents are those who are visiting for less than one year and do not have proof of permanent residency. Temporary Cards are valid for up to one year (depending on length of residency).
Pay Cards are issued to those who do not live in Palisades Park but visit frequently. If you live in a nearby town with a BCCLS Library, you must get a card from your town library. They are issued for a fee of $125 per year and payable by cash or check to Palisades Park Public Library. Pay Card holders may only check out items from Palisades Park Public Library. They may not use the BCCLS collection, museum passes, or the eBCCLS collection.

Courtesy Cards are free and for patrons who do not live in Palisades Park, or one of the towns within the BCCLS Consortium, but who work in Palisades Park and have proof of employment.
