Palisades Park Public Library cardholders can visit our circulation desk to have existing fines for Palisades Park Public Library items waived. If you have charges from lost or damaged materials, please speak with us and we will work with you to find an equitable solution.
You are still responsible for fines on items owned by other libraries. These items will accrue fines according to the policy of the owning library. It is important to remember, some items you borrow or request may not be owned by Palisades Park Public Library.
You are still responsible for replacement costs for damaged and lost items.
You will not be able to check out items if:

We will accept an identical copy as a replacement for Palisades Park Public Library items that have been lost or damaged. Please contact the library for more information.

An item is NOT eligible for Auto-Renew if:
The item has reached its renewal limit.
The item is on hold for another patron.
Your card has expired.
You owe $10 or more in fines.
You have 10 or more items overdue.

You must have a valid BCCLS library card to borrow items.
50 items may be checked out on your card at once.
6 CDs may be check out at a single time.
6 DVDs/Blu-Rays may be check out at a single time.
6 Audiobooks may be check out at a single time.
Your card will be blocked if your privilege expires, you owe $10 or more in fines, or you have more than 10 overdue items. Patrons are responsible for all lost or damaged items.
All items should be returned to the book drop located outside the library or at the circulation desk.
