A Message from the Library Director of the Palisades Park Public Library
Dear Library Community,
Out of an abundance of caution and in an effort to protect the high-risk populations that we serve as well as minimize the potential exposure/transmission of COVID-19, the library will be closed to the public starting Thursday March 12 with a tentative reopening date of Tuesday March 31. All scheduled meetings, programs, and events are to be cancelled during this time period. Also, please note there will be no late fees or fines during this period.
We really appreciate everyone's cooperation and new information will be posted on our website as updates occur. Staff will be reporting to the library during this time and we will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please reach out to us at 201-585-4150 or by email email@example.com.

How does the library being closed affect you?
The Library will be closed to the public until further notice but you still have access to FREE materials at home. You may not be able to visit us in person but you can always reach out to us on social media or by email. The best way to get in contact with us during this time is to email email@example.com or by emailing the Director, Katie Piano, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due dates for any materials borrowed will be changed. There will be no late fees at this time. Please do not return items at this time. We encourage you to keep items until we reopen.
All Library loan and hold functions are suspended. You can not request any items or pick up any items at this time. For more information please visit BCCLS. But don't worry! You still have access to eBCCLS, databases, online learning tools, and activities.
The Library will provide online resources, forms of entertainment, and remote learning tools as much as possible. Most of this can be found on our Facebook. This may include live story times for kids, remote book clubs, ESL conversation classes, and other free resources. We will try to continue to bring you new and exciting ways to interact with library from home.
The Library building might be closed but the Library is still here for you!
BCCLS eCards: Digital Library Cards
The public libraries of the BCCLS consortium know these are challenging times. In response, public libraries are helping patrons without a library card to register and get access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines.
