What is an eBook?
An eBook is a book composed in or converted to digital format for display on a computer screen or handheld device. 
Where can I find an eBook?
Thanks to eBCCLS, Palisades Park Library card holders can borrow free eBooks! You can download one of several apps on your handheld electronic devices or on your computer. 

Meet Libby, You can borrow eBooks, instantly, for free, using just the device in your hand.

  • You can borrow up to 5 titles per month.​

    • Audiobooks can be borrowed for 14 days.

    • eBooks can be borrowed for 14 days.

  • You can have 5 holds at one time

  • Once you have been notified that the hold is available you have 3 days (72 hours) from when the email is sent to download the item. 

  • It is not possible to renew items. Once the loan period has expired, the item will go to the next person on the hold list.

  • All digital titles are automatically returned to your library at the end of their lending periods, so you never have to worry about late fees.
